Gratitude Monday

Gifts that make my life worth living,
gifts that make my moments holy.
Not gifts that I wish for,
but gifts that I have received.
Gifts that bring me back
into Joy and Gratitude.

getting all the recipts entered in Quicken
my daughter’s newly painted bright PINK bedroom
date night with hubby at home, while the kids went sledding
a dark red poinsettia
a really hard logic problem
a fun used furniture store
a friend who wanted to go to Haiti and work, but didn’t have the funds…whose way is now paid!  PTL
an impromptu singalong
a girl with mismatched socks–one argyle and one plain gray
root beer floats
a trash-hauling company named “Elite”
a yellow water tower with a huge smiley face
a long drive alone with my husband today, with plenty of time to talk
blueberry bushes red against the snow
having all the grocery shopping done for another month

Please pray for our friends Aaron, Julie, and Betsy Cook.  They were in an accident and all are in ICU.  Pray for healing, for skillful surgeons, and for peace in the hearts of them and their family.

About dayuntoday

I'm a wonderer. I spend a lot of time mulling, pondering, and cogitating. This is just a place to park some of those thoughts.
