OK, I’m going to show my stupidity, but what is a “recorder” that can be played with the nose or lips? All I can envision is a “harmonica”. Are these one and the same with different terminology between the east & west…or am I clueless?

Carla, it’s more like a flute–a long whistle with holes. Elementary school kids play them a lot as a first instrument.
